I love the fact that there are hundreds, if
not thousands of types of grapes, excluding the ones that
have gone extinct. I found this gem at the Renault Winery
when I went down there to pick up some of their blueberry
champagne. While they make a May wine, this actually taste
like one of the wines from SchwartzKatt, and this reminds
me more of a traditional German may wine than anything
else.
The taste in itself is reminiscent of a
very good grape juice, undiluted by water. While it might
remind you of a very expensive jelly, it has a good
smoothness that caresses your tongue somewhat silkishly. I
would recommend drinking this wine either alone after a
meal, or with cured meats, fruits and cheese.
